Astronomy Club in The Farm

Today is the second day of the Hari Raya holiday, visited my Astronomy Club students at The Farm, Lenggeng, Negeri Sembilan. It was about 45 minutes driving from my home at Kota Seriemas. I arrived at The Farm around 7pm, just in time when the students were eating the BBQ food. I basically swallowed at least 9 chicken wing, 3 lamb meat, salad, 1/2 a fish and some fruits. Geee... I never knew I was that hungry, or the food was nice? Anyway, the sky was cloudy, so no stargazing session was possible. So I end up telling "stories" to the students on the "wonders" of our universe. Didnt manage to take pictures of the food, but my students took some pictures while I'm "preaching" hahaha...

(Above) Nose iching... :P
The Farm is a nice retreat facility, with the "kampung" environment, ideal for stargazing activities as there's no light polution around. I have been going to The Farm for the Astronomy Club's activities for 5 years, everytime, enjoying the BBQ before going for stargazing. After few hours spending time with them, drive back home to Kota Seriemas at 10:30pm. Have to work the next day :P...

Very quiet FOEAT

It's a day before Hari Raya holiday, the whole FOEAT is really empty. Apart from a meeting early in the morning (of which, personally, I think is very "wu liao") , the whole faculty becomes very quiet. So I took a quick forray around and snap pictures with my new Sony Ericsson K530i to show how "free" are my friends in FOEAT haha...

(Above) Empty corridor... usually filled with fast pace students and staffs

(Above) My Burmese friend, Win Lai Aye, dont know what she do there... playing games perhaps.

(Above) My Philiphino friend, Federico Roy, very dedicated to his students, still teaching them during the mid semester break.

(Above) And finally, the famous Susan Chong, can hear her laugh all the way to my office, at least 5 rooms away...!! She seems to be occupied...

Tiramisu Cake !!

Oh boy, I'm a bit dizzy now... after eating the Tiramisu cake made by my friend Audrey. It was tasty, with a little bit of coffee taste. Why i'm a bit dizzy? According to Chef Audrey, she mixed the Tiramisu with a little bit liquour ...  I mean WTF !! No wonder I've been floating around. I wonder if I danced on the table just now? haha.. Anyway, nice job Audrey, and thanks for the cake.

Blog Inaugural Entry

My 31st Birthday Cake

Perhaps this is symbolic day, a chosen day for my inaugural entry of my blog, dedicated for me to express myself, telling my side of story, what happen to my daily life, or simple just a feeling of writing.

It's my 31st birthday, a begining of a new era. I just gave up my position as a Head of Masters degree in my faculty, FOEAT, so that I can give more time for my PhD, and hopefully to regain my social life. My strategy is to stay in hibernation mode for 2 years, giving my full attention to my phd work. So far everything goes according to my plan, except that for some minor politics inside FOEAT, which I really dont want to talk about. Wasting my time. Perhaps next time.

Two weeks back my ex announced to me that she's getting married this November. I had this kinda weird kind of feeling, not so sure how to explain in words. I was told Ms. SC and Ms. LSF knew about that, but they did not tell me, probably affraid that I will feel sad, or hurt. Honestly speaking, I am happy for her, and I'm sure she is equally happy. She wished me good luck for my future, and invited me to her wedding. Well, it's not that i refuse to let go of her, it's the fact that I couldnt meet her parents during the wedding dinner. I really dont know how my reaction would be. I just dont want to spoil her wedding dinner, so i decided not to go. Hopefully whatever had happen, it had tought me to be a better man in the future. Life carried on, and I have already forgotten what had happen.

31 years old, is just a begining for me, although I can see wrinkles starting appearing on my forehead haha... sign of me getting old. Wishing that my 31st birthday wish will come true...

I end my blog entry with a song my Robbie Williams, Betterman.

Cheers !!
